Angelystor, the Recording Angel, is a supernatural voice said to inhabit the churchyard of St Digain's Church in Llangernyw. Each Halloween night, the spirit announces the names of parishioners who will die in the coming year. The tradition is centred on the churchyard's ancient yew tree.
